Public Observing Session - Jupiter and the Bull

Tonight offers the spectacular sight of brilliant Jupiter in the constellation of Taurus the Bull. Taurus and the other bright stars of winter will soon fade behind the Sun with approach of summer. Come see these celestial beauties through one of the Observatory's telescopes.

Observing sessions require suitable sky conditions. To learn the status of any event, call the observatory hotline at
313-583-6566 or check the Observatory's website beginning one hour prior to the scheduled start time. Inclement weather or other unforeseen adverse circumstances may cause the cancellation of a scheduled event.

Observing sessions are held outdoors. Please dress appropriately for personal comfort during your visit.
