Public Observing Session - The Stars of Summer
When: May 3, 2013, 09:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Friday
Where: Observatory SLRC

As spring fades into summer, the stars of the summer constellations come into view. Sprinkled among the summer stars are beautiful nebulae and star clusters, made more visible by tonight's moonless sky. Come to the Observatory to see these celestial jewels through one of the Observatory's telescopes.

Observing sessions require suitable sky conditions. To learn the status of any event, call the observatory hotline at
313-583-6566 or check the observatory's web site beginning one hour prior to the scheduled start time. Inclement weather or other unforeseen adverse circumstances may cause the cancellation of a scheduled event.

Observing sessions are held outdoors. Please dress appropriately for personal comfort during your visit.
