Public Observing Session - The Summer Triangle
When: July 23, 2013, 09:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Tuesday
Where: Observatory SLRC

The summer sky is led by the bight stars of the summer triangle - Vega, Deneb, and Altair. Come to the Observatory to learn to find the summer triangle, and use our telescopes to see the nebulae and star clusters that call the summer sky home.

Observing sessions require suitable sky conditions. To learn the status of any event, call the observatory hotline at
313-583-6566 or check the observatory's web site beginning one hour prior to the scheduled start time. Inclement weather or other unforeseen adverse circumstances may cause the cancellation of a scheduled event.

Observing sessions are held outdoors. Please dress appropriately for personal comfort during your visit.
