Please come to hear an interdisciplinary group of three community college professionals who will discuss how they have used their graduate education to build their community college careers.
Elizabeth (Libbie) Lamott Rutherford manages the collegiate partnerships at Henry Ford Community College and facilitates a variety of classes for the University of Phoenix and Kaplan University. She is a graduate of both Maryville University and Webster University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master in Human Resources Management.
Val Woldman, an Associate Professor in Humanities at Valencia College in Winter Park, Florida has a B.A. in English from Northwestern University, a Master of Professional Studies in Reading from Buffalo State College and will complete her Master in Liberal Studies with a Certificate in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in December, 2013.
Lee Yaros is a faculty member in the Architecture/Construction Technology department at Henry Ford Community College. He holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Industrial/Vocational Education from Eastern Michigan University and is vocationally certified in architectural drafting and construction trades. He is currently working on a doctorate in education at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
