Japanese Woodblock Print Lecture and Demonstration

Yukiko Takahashi, president of Takahashi Kobo Studio in Tokyo, will present a lecture on Japanese printmaking, and print artist, Kyoko Hirai, will demonstrate each stage of the traditional printing process. The event is supported by the Japan Foundation and sponsored by Consulate General of Japan in Detroit, the Japan America Society of Michigan & SW Ontario, and Art History, UM-D.
